Two software below is prepared to create shape data of a tip and that of sample.

We introduce the software for creating shape data of a tip and that of sample which is used by SPM Simulator in this page.
It is SetModel and ChemSketch.
SetModel is a program developed by us.
ChemSketch is freeware.

SetModel: creation of atomic model

Shape data of a surface of a crystal inorganic material is generated by this solver. The solver is useful to create data of a surface of a crystal and that of a metal substrate.

ChemSketch: creation of an organic compound model

Shape data of an organic molecule is generated by ChemSketch.
ChemSketch is provided as freeware and you can download it from this website.

And freeware named OpenBabel is useful to convert chemical information data generated by ChemSketch into that in another file format.
OpenBabel is provided as freeware and you can download it from this website.

We can create sample data below with SetModel and ChemSketch.
